Category: Bicycle tracks Distance: 11.2 km Difficulty: średni
The trail starts at the Mill Gate between Upper and Lower lakes.Next to the Strzelce Cultural Centre goes behind a petrol station, to the east along Poznańska street. Afterwards we enter a mid-field road that after traveling about 2 km brings us to the spot where red and our- yellow trails spred. From here we can step aside and take a little break on the "Angels Pond" resting place, near Popie lake. If not feeling tired we head north towards Licheń. We come here to the church, whose construction was commissioned in 1794 by Wilhelmina Enke - mistress of Prussian King Frederick Wilhelm II. To the east from the church we can also see farm buildings: a stable, distillery and the cowshed. During the World War II in Licheń operated a forced labor camp for Poles and in a forest near Licheń (direction to Długie), we can still find the foundations of the field hospital, where war prisoners from the camp Woldenberg II C (Dobiegniew) were treated. In the center of the village, at the cross we have to take a paved road to the north-east and then down the avenue of chestnut trees to the forest. We are entering the Protected Landscape Area "Drawa Primeval Forest" and the Special Birds Protection Area of Nature 2000 "The Drawa Forests Wilderness". Crossing the woods we reach the shore of the Słowa lake where yellow trail connects with the green one and the blue nordic-walking "Trail of Enchanted Maidens from Burgwall". After traveling another 250 m we spot the place where black coloured trail turns left and leads to the resting place "On the Border". Yellow trail however, continues around the picturesque Słowa lake that stands out with unusual emerald water colour. Going futher north we finally get to the "Bridge of Reconciliation" where we can relax on the resting place with roofed tables or enjoy the beautiful panorama of Ogardzka Odnoga lake from the observation tower.
